Neil Fellowes Photography

About

I could best be described as manic, abstract, unreliable and English.

I initially started dabbling in photography many years ago, with a 35mm SLR set up and I am totally self-taught. These days I spend my time happily snapping with my Fujifilm Finepix S2950HD digital bridge camera before returning home to while away the hours processing images on the computer.

I have a number of interests that inspire my photographic subject matter ranging from Urban Exploration and music to landscape history and city scenes. I like to create unusual images that make you look twice and believe you see something new each time and also of the things that people don't deem to be "picturesque". You won't find cute babies and smiling families here!!!

In 2011, I was fortunate enough to be able to photograph the recording studio of Ben "Benge" Edwards, a leading figure in the U.K. electronica/IDM scene and collaborator with Ultravox founder and electronica pioneer, John Foxx. My work was also used as part of the artwork for a CD called "Exit Strategy" released by leading U.K. sound designer and synthesist Ian Boddy and Greek electronic music composer Bakis Sirros of Parallel Worlds.
